Data Arbitration is operated by Consumer Dispute Resolution Limited (CDRL), a Government approved and leading provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

CDRL also operates the following leading ADR schemes:

  • AviationADRwww.aviationadr.org.uk – an ADR scheme, approved by the Civil Aviation Authority to deal with disputes between airlines and passengers.

 

  • CommsADRwww.commsadr.org.uk – an ADR scheme, approved by Ofcom to deal with non-regulated disputes between consumers and communications providers.

 

  • Consumer Arbitrationwww.consumerarbitration.co.uk – an ADR scheme, approved by Chartered Trading Standards Institute to deal with disputes between consumers and traders.

 

  • RetailADRwww.retailadr.org.uk –  an ADR scheme, approved by Chartered Trading Standards Institute to deal with disputes between consumers and retailers.

 

  • UtilitiesADRwww.utilitiesadr.org.uk – an ADR scheme, approved by Chartered Trading Standards Institute to deal with non-regulated disputes between consumers and energy providers.

Use of the Data Arbitration scheme consists of a nominal administration fee to consumers of £10. The case can be submitted without the need for any independent advice or third party representation. Please note that the consumer fee is non-refundable by CDRL, but if the Arbitrator finds in the consumers favour they can award the fee to be reimbursed by the company you are in dispute with.
